The heart behind Laurabelle’s

Hi, I’m Laura.

I’m the baker, dreamer, and person behind the never-ending ideas at Laurabelle’s Bakery & Cafe.

A little piece of my story

I started selling baked goods at vendor events in 2022. In 2025, I had the idea to turn my front porch into a self-serve bakery. What started as a simple way to share my baking has now grown into a bakery and café right on Main Street in Munday, Texas.

But the name Laurabelle’s is my favorite part of the story.

Laurabelle was a nickname given to me by my daddy. He passed away shortly after I started my baking business, and now a name I once heard only from him is one I hear almost every day. It’s a little piece of him that lives on through the bakery.

I’m grateful for my customers who have supported this crazy adventure from the beginning. I’m excited to bring something a little different to our community.

My hope is that Laurabelle’s becomes more than just a place to grab a bite. I want it to be a place where everyone feels welcome, makes memories, and always finds something worth coming back for.

Thanks for being part of my story. I’m so glad you’re here!

Peace, hope, friendship & new beginnings

More Than Just a Logo

When I was creating the logo for Laurabelle’s, I knew I wanted it to mean something. The olive branch has long represented peace, hope, friendship, and new beginnings. Those are the very things I want Laurabelle’s to stand for. It’s a simple design with a bigger meaning: good food, good people, and a place where everyone is welcome.
